HUMAN CAPACITY

Goals, Decisions & Direction

Goals, decisions and direction require people to prioritize, plan, regulate action and coordinate competing demands over time.

This domain concerns regulation, planning, routines, life plans, transitions and task coordination. It is where human capacity becomes directional: choosing what matters now, deciding what can wait, coordinating competing obligations and translating intention into action.

The domain should not be reduced to ‘productivity.’ People can be extremely productive inside a narrow goal system while neglecting other requirements. The scientific problem is coordination across a life, not output in one arena.
